"Tagebücher" is a collection of Franz Kafka's diary entries, written between 1910 and 1923.

Franz Kafka (born July 3, 1883 in Prague, Austria-Hungary; † June 3, 1924 in Klosterneuburg-Kierling, Austria; rarely also called "František Kafka" in Czech) was a German-speaking writer. In addition to three novel fragments ("The Trial", "The Castle" and "The Disappeared"), his main work consists of numerous stories. The majority of Kafka's works were only published after his death and against his will by Max Brod, a close friend and confidant whom Kafka had appointed as executor of his estate. Kafka's works are part of the undisputed canon of world literature.
