Book Donations

Our inventory comes solely from donated books. 

Donations of books by Rudolf Steiner and other anthroposophical authors help us make this material more accessible worldwide. We post material online via the Rudolf Steiner Archive and sell duplicates through our resale bookstore. You get a donation receipt for tax purposes and help us fund our mission to preserve and promote the works of Rudolf Steiner and related materials. Donate books now or in the future through your will and estate plans by gifting them to Steiner Online Library.

Type & Condition

 We accept books by Rudolf Steiner and other anthroposophical authors that are in suitable condition for resale. Musty, moldy, dusty, or water-damaged books are not accepted, and neither are  heavily damaged copies with torn spines. The lowest condition we offer is "Acceptable" which is described as: 

All pages and cover are intact, but dust cover case may be damaged or missing. Cover, spine, pages or dust cover may show significant signs of wear. Pages may include moderate notes, highlighting, and/or minor water damage, warping, etc., but the text is readable. May be a former library book or include "From the library of" label.

Please do not send moldy or damaged books that others would not enjoy.

USPS offers a lower media mail postage rate. Send them in small sturdy boxes to:

Tax Deductible

Upon request, we will send you a donation receipt with the estimated value of the materials left blank for you to complete. That way if you find additional books to send later this year, you can use the same receipt. You may include shipping costs in the donation amount.

In as little as one sentence you can complete your gift of books or other assets to Steiner Online Library and ensure your lasting legacy.
