The prophetic Russian Epic, 'How the Holy Holy Mountains Released the Mighty Russian Heroes from their Rocky Caves', tells of a mighty spiritual battle for the destiny of the Russian people, involving the powerful spiritual beings of Chris, Mary-Sophia, the Archangel Michael, the Antichrist and the terrible force of the fallen hierarchies of evil.

The epic or bylina describes three fearful trials which must be endured by the Russian people. The overcoming of these trials would lead to a mastering of those spiritual powers needed for the fulfilment of the Russian people's future mission on  behalf of human evolution—establishing a kingdom of brotherly ove, and spreading a new spiritual culture throughout the Earth.

Sergei O. Prokofieff was born in Moscow in 1954, where he studied Fine Arts and Painting at the Moscow School of Art. At an early age he came across the work of an Austrian-born philosopher and founder of modern spiritual science, Rudolf Steiner, and soon realised that his life was to be dedicated to the Christian path of esoteric knowledge.
