Writer Mabel Collins was a very important theosophist, member of The Theosophical Society in England, and, at one time collaborated with H. P. Blavatsky in the editorship of the magazine Lucifer, and in one of her books.

 This collection compiles seven of her most renowned works, including the one that made her a household name in the theosophist world, Light on the Path, a "treatise written for the personal use of those who are ignorant of the Eastern Wisdom and who desire to enter within its influence." The book is said to be of very ancient origin, written in an archaic form of Sanskrit.

Classic among occultists, it is the best guide known for those who have taken the first step on the Path of Attainment.
